St. Mary, St. Richard, and Holy Family Faith Formation

Often used interchangeably with "religious education" or "catechesis"

Faith Formation refers to everything that contributes to a person's growth in faith and intimacy with Jesus Christ:  evangelization, religious instruction, liturgy, sacraments, service to others, faith sharing, personal prayer, life experiences, and so on.

Parents are the first and most effective teachers of their children

especially in proclaiming the Good News of Christ. The Faith Formation program provides support for these parents and formal instruction for their children in grades 1-8, as well as preparation for the sacraments of Penance and Reconciliation (Confession), First Eucharist (Communion), and Confirmation.

Our 2017 2018 Faith Formation Program begins

Monday, September 18, 2017 thru Monday, May 21, 2018.
Class times for all grades are 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
